This Privacy and Cookies Policy (the “Policy”) explains how Aspretum a.s. collects, uses and discloses personal information about you when you visit this Site and when you contact Aspretum a.s., whether by e-mail, post or telephone using the contact options on this Site. 1. What types of information does Aspretum a.s. collect and why?

2. What type of personal data does Aspretum a.s. collect?

2.1 Where you choose to provide it to us, we may collect the following personal data from you:

2.1.1 your full name;

2.1.3 other company information e.g. number of employees and industry sector;

2.1.4 the reason for your contact such as a query in respect of a job application or information about our products and services;

2.1.6 information necessary for legal compliance; and/or

3. How does Aspretum a.s. use your personal data?

3.1.1 to respond and/or deal with your request or enquiry;

3.1.2 to improve our products and services;

3.1.3 to administer the Site;

4. Aggregated Information

Aggregated personal information does not personally identify you or any other user of the Site.  It may be used for statistical analysis and administration, including analysis of trends, carrying out actuarial work, tailoring products and services, risk assessment and analysis of costs and charges in relation to our products and services. Your personal data may also be made available to third parties providing relevant services under contract to Aspretum a.s. such as employment recruiters, human resources support services, auditors and compliance managers, providers or call centres and IT hosting and IT maintenance providers.  These companies may use information about you to perform their functions on our behalf.  In addition, we may disclose your personal data to prospective or actual buyers in the event that Aspretum a.s. sells all or any of its business or assets.


5. Will your personal data be transferred abroad?

5.1 Individuals within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) should be aware that recipients of their personal data may be located in countries or territories outside the EEA which may not have adequate data protection laws equivalent to those in the EEA. 

5.2 Where personal data is transferred to countries outside of the EEA and Switzerland Aspretum a.s. will put in place other measures to ensure that those transfers are adequately protected (as required by applicable law).


6. What choices does Aspretum a.s. offer you with regard to direct marketing?

6.1 Aspretum a.s. may wish to provide you with information about new products, services, promotions and offers from Aspretum a.s., which may be of interest to you, and may invite you to take part in market research or request feedback on Aspretum a.s. products and services. This communication may occur by email, SMS or telephone. We will obtain your consent where we are required to do so in accordance with applicable law.

6.2 If required by applicable law, Aspretum a.s. will ensure that any direct marketing or market research that you receive or are contacted about by electronic means will provide a simple means for you to refuse further marketing.  For example, in emails it may provide you with an ‘unsubscribe’ link, or an email address to which you can send an opt-out request.  Aspretum a.s. will take steps to stop any marketing to which you object or in respect of which you withdraw your consent within a reasonable period, in order to allow sufficient time for the change to be administered.

6.3 In such cases Aspretum a.s. would not necessarily remove all your personal data from its database(s) but would note and respect your modified direct marketing preferences.


7. What safeguards are in place to protect your personal data?

7.1 Aspretum a.s. takes steps to seek to protect the security of your personal data in accordance with applicable law.  As for all website operations, we cannot guarantee the security of any transmission of personal data over the Internet.  Communications over the internet such as emails are not secure unless they have been encrypted.  So while we strive to protect such information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information transmitted to us.  Please do not submit personal data through the Site unless you accept the inherent security implications of dealing online.

8.1 We will keep your details on record until we have completely dealt with your request, enquiry or application and then for a reasonable period afterwards, in accordance with applicable law.

8.2 Aspretum a.s. may keep your details on record for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it may use your personal data, as set out above.
